      Today is the last class for Seminar in English Language Teaching. I felt happy when I learned with you. You are always smile but sometimes you ever angry me when I felt slept or talk a lot with my friends. I learned many points from you, I got knowledge to teach and adapt to teach with students. Teacher emphasized on ESL and EFL because Thailand is an English as a foreign language and then she taught me about how to teach in EFL and point the different between ESL and EFL that ESL take place in an English speaking country with students from all different background but EFL take place in a foreign country, usually with students from the same country. Teacher taught in 21st century learning pedagogical perspectives based on the context are about advancement of ICTs and globalization and global economy and ASEAN community and high competition. Teacher in 21st century was developed with input from teachers, educations, expert and business leaders to define and illustrate the skill and knowledge students need to succeed in work. Teacher presented factor affecting of teaching and learning English and lets students to solve and fine the way for solving problems and assigned to discuss in your group and come to present the front of the class. Teacher explained many topics such as  problems about teaching and learning English in Thailand, ICT, CLT, trend in EFL, the end of CLT and sociocultural. Teacher is very intelligent in ICT skills and she has an expert about this subject because she read the research a lot and guided us to find and read more. Weblog is the part of her research because weblog can explain and record knowledge that I know to share with other online and have benefits. Teacher often to teach about CLT is the important in EFL but not effectively because Thailand is EFL and use English in the classroom only but the outside they use the mother tongue. And she said that in the future we are be teacher and we have to know the trend in EFL because we are the up to date and can teach and adapt to teach in each learner style. And the last, teacher added about sociocultural because I am Thai but I teach English so I have to learn cultural of native speaker and exchange and learn in English and adapt to teach about cultural of English to students correctly.
     Teacher is kindness and forgive to us always. She is smile for us and expert for this subject. She like to find many researches to students to read but sometimes we don't read it. I like to discuss with my friends because I can share and my friends can exchange the information to me and sometime I got feedback and comment from my friends and teacher. I never serious to learn but I'm sorry with teacher because sometimes I don't read it before.

     Today I learned with Assistant Professor Dr. Usa Noytim in seminar in English Language Teaching. Today, I had the final examination but before the test. Teacher concluded about sociocultural theory that sociocultural theory is the view that children do not learn in isolation: rather than learning occurs when a child interacts with other people in various social and cultural environments (Mercer, 1994). In the tenet has 4 topics such as 1) human's learning 2) cognitive development 3) communicative development and 4) cultural context. Vygotsky's view that 1) learning occurs from background knowledge to make knowledge by yourself 2) bring knowledge to create activity as a tool 3) bring knowledge from teacher to make knowledge by yourself 4) After students ask teacher already, they can make knowledge by yourself and 5) teacher participate with students' activity. Key notions are ZPD and scaffolding. ZPD has 2 points that Actual development level is the ability of student can do it and Potential level is the ability of student can do it by helping from other. Scaffolding (Bruner, 1975 cited in Mercer, 1995) uses this concept to highlight the way that an individual can be closely and productively involved in someone's learning. The essence of scaffolding, in Bruner's view, is the sentitive, supportive intervention of a teacher in the progress of a learner who is actively involved in a specific task which is that learner's ZPD. Therefore, teachers' responsibility is to assist students with potential development towards the end of the continuum of the ZPD to achieve actual development towards the other end of the continuum. And so, through teacher intervention in the learning process, students will develop an ability to succeed and learn effectively.And the last, teacher have their role in teaching and assisting students at initial stages to develop their ability to learn independently, and that teaching and assistance can be withdrawn later.
     The final exam is easy because these topics in the test, I understand and I read already.
     But the final exam is difficult to write to imply. I can imply in the context but I don't know that my answer is correct or incorrect in teacher's mind.
     I solve these problem by practice and attention more than.
     I felt happy and I believes that the final exam, I can do it and I can answer the questions but I'm not sure that my answer is correct, isn't?

      Today I learned with Assistant Professor Dr. Usa Noytim in seminar in English Language Teaching. Teacher concluded about the end of CLT: CLT or communicative language teaching emphasized on communicative competence: 1) grammartical or linguistic competence 2) discourse competence 3) sociolinguistic or pragmatic competence 4) strategic competence and 5) interculture competence. Classroom activity is the solving problems activity, stimulation and role play. The most of teacher didn't use mother tongue but can use translate which some words are difficult. CLT emphasized  on the relationship between teacher and student interaction. And teacher taught this approach emphasized on meaningful and context. Next, teacher's role are be facilitator, interdependent participant-organiser of resources, and researcher. Richard and Rodgers said that teacher are be analyst, counseler and group process manager. The learner-centredness are be learners participate with teaching process, learners participate with disigning language activity, learners have to be responsibility from learning and learners can learn yourself. After that teacher gave the research of sociocultural theory as an approach to aid EFL learners and assigned students to discuss in your group and my group discussed that problem in EFL learners are learning and cultural. In learning English, teacher didn't choose teaching method and use traditional method by using teacher center. In the cultural, learners don't have a chance to speak in target language and don't have motivate to learn or speak or work etc. Sociocultural theory is a theory of the development of higher mental practice which regards social interaction as the core of communication and learning process. Vygotsky's use of the problem-solving activity is vital enough to justify the distinction between an individual learner's actual development level and potential level. An EFL language learner as a novice and the teacher as an expert or more capable other can interact with each other in a social setting of classroom which lead to the enhancement of learning.
     Sociocultural theory lesson is easy to create task to students to develop yourself and this theory uses ZPD and scaffolding in teaching.
      Sociocultural theory lesson is difficult to find the good way to teach each learner style and find the activity to make a long term remembering to students.
    I solve these problem by asking expert teacher and surf the information and knowledge from the internet to help me.
       I felt fun to share idea with my friends but I like to listen from other more than one.

  Today I learned with Assistant Professor Dr. Usa Noytim in seminar in English Language Teaching. Today, we were going to present about 7 topics such as 1) roles of English in the ASEAN Community,the implications for teaching and learning, 2) factor affecting English language teaching and learning, 3) problem of English language teaching and learning in Thailand, 4) ICT enhanceing English language teaching and learning, 5) communicative language teaching: strengths and constraints, 6) English language teaching and learning for 21st century learning, and 7) developing Thai students' critical thinking skills. In the first topic,in the role of English in the ASEAN, many countries used English as a second language or English as a foreign language.ESL situation,the learners learn English within English environment and needs to understand to speak English outside the classroom too. But EFL situation, the learners learn English inside the classroom but they leave the classroom, they continuous speak their own language. In the second topic, factor affecting English language teaching and learning are many factors such as student, teacher and environment. These factors are 3 main factors: in the first , student factor is about learner styles. In the second, teacher factor is about teaching style, teaching method and teaching proficiency and the last topic, environment factor is about class size etc. The third factor is about problems of English language teaching and learning in Thailand is many problems of English language teaching and learning. For example, problems about teacher, they are novice and don't have knowledge to teach students. They don't support material to teach and the last,the native speakers don't have enough to teach students. The forth factor is about ICT enhancing English language teaching and learning. The ICT is the important to teach because ICT is the modern material  and students can use it and work online. The fifth factor is about communicative language teaching:strengths and constraints. CLT based on communicative approach and emphasized on communication competences such as linguistic competence, sociolinguistic competence, discourse competence, strategic competence and intercultural competence. Teacher uses this approach by realized supporting of learning and effectively of teacher and student. The sixth factor is about English language teaching and learning for 21st century learning. 21st century learning skill emphasized on 4Cs such as critical thinking, creating, collaboration and communication. Nowadays we based on teamwork and learner center more than teacher center. And the last factor is about developing Thai students' critical thinking skills. The most of students use these critical thinking skills to work in group and discuss in group. These presentation of group work are the important for teaching English. 
     These lesson is easy because these topics are learned already and then I understand.
     These lesson is difficult because  some topics is many factors to make problems and I can't remember many factors. And some topics, I can't understand.
     I solve the problem by asking questions with my friends who present that topics. And I have to study yourself.
     I felt tired and attention very much because teacher will test about these topics.

  Today I learned with Assistant Professor Dr. Usa Noytim in seminar in English Language Teaching. Teacher assigned to work in group of five persons. We discussed about the end of CLT. CLT, was popular and emphasized communicate in the classroom. In the research, some countries did not use CLT approaches but still manage to learn to speak good English. This approach disagrees fundamentally with the CLT attitude by arguing that methodology is not the magic solution,that there are many different ways to learn languages, that the context is a crucial determiner of the success or failure of learners. We can show the contrast like this: CLT is the complete answer. If we don't have CLT,then we can't learn a language. No other factors count in learning a language only teaching methodology. If you don't have CLT,then you are backward. But context approach,we must consider the whole context. Methodology (including CLT) is just one factors may be more important. Other methods and approaches may be equally valid. CLT is typical of short training courses and at the same time lamentable. Surely a key part of good teaching is understanding and being able to analyse and reflect on the culture, the classroom,the pupils' needs. By contrast, a context approach insists that while methodology is important, it is just one factor in successful language learning. After that teacher assigned students to found the research about Language Teachers' beliefs and practices regarding the appropriateness of communicative methodology: A case study from Thailand and Propects and challenges of Communicative approach in EFL.
     Communicative approach is easy to teach because CLT emphasized on communicate with your friend. If learners can speak English, these learners will succeed in speaking English.
    Communicative approach is difficult to control students to speak English because these students didn't opportunity to speak English and in Thailand is EFL or English as a foreign language and teacher use English language to speak in the classroom only. But outside the classroom, students use Thai language. 
     I solve these problem by assigning worksheet to practice in speaking English. 
    I felt fun and happy to learn because I ever learn about this approach before so I understand and make me to remember a long term.

  Today I learned with Assistant Professor Dr. Usa Noytim in seminar in English Language Teaching. Before we started the lesson, we discussed about current trends and issues in English language education Asia. This research has many factors to occur problems about English education such as class hours, national English curriculum, school textbooks, computer assisted for English language education, teacher. Some country in Asia is familiar with Thailand and many problems in primary and secondary English education such as sociocultural or linguistic context, the lack of government support for English language education and class size and hours. And the next, teacher concluded in the topic "Trends in the global ELT" has 9 topics including: first, change in perspective on ELT and Learning is focused on the issues of "World Englishes". Second, change in goals of  ELT and Learning  is focused on developing language skill and mimicking native English speakers of fostering a sense of social responsibility in students. Third, change in teaching approaches is focuses on meaning of context, not grammar but mix many approaches to teach students. Fourth, change in teaching context, curriculum design and assessment is focuses on English language. Fifth, expanding the dimension of communicative competence is focuses on other cultural language and teacher teaches in level local and inter. Sixth, changes in views of an effective English educator, teacher is a native speaker and learn other cultural. Seventh, early start in learning English. Eighth, rapid development and integration of IT in ELT, teacher have to know the using IT and create media to teach students. Ninth, changing roles and increasing responsibilities of teachers, teacher realize that teacher know about own functions and the interaction between teacher and student have to participate about evaluation. And the last, she talked about the 7Cs, CLT use in EFL context and this technique can use with students or not.
     Trends in the global ELT is easy because ELT is the important of teaching English. Teach need to teach English through English language and up to date about trends in teaching to teach students in the classroom.
     Trends in the global ELT is difficult when teacher have to create and up to date and teacher can adopt and adapt to students in the classroom.
     Teacher in the future can solve the problem in the classroom and use the new technique and trends about teaching to improve and develop students in English language.
   I got knowledge about trends in teaching from teacher and teacher taught quickly and race with time but not waste time, she gave content and find information to teach us and she attended to teach us.

     Today I learned with Assistant Professor Dr. Usa Noytim in seminar in English Language Teaching.I learned and discussed about computer assisted language learning: an introduction by Mark Warschauer. This research have 3 phases of call consisted of behavioristic CALL, communication CALL, and integrative CALL. First, behavioristic CALL implemented in the 1960s and '70s, was based on the then-dominant behaviorist theories of learning. This theory entailed repetitive language drills and can be referred to as " drill and practice". And drill and practice courseware is based on the model of computor as tutor. Second, communication CALL based on the communicative approach. This approach focuses more on using forms rather than on the forms themselves, teaches grammar implicitly rather than explicitly etc. In these programs, like the drill and practice programs mentioned above, the computer remains the computer as tutor, the computer as stimulas and the computer as tool. And the last, the integrative CALL: multimedia is based on two important technological developments of the last decade-multimedia computer and the internet. Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) is probably the single computer application to date with the greatest impact on language teaching. This communication can be asynchronous (not simultaneous), synchronous (real time) and not only one-to-one communication, but also one-to-many.
  Computer assisted language learning is easy because this technique can use and find the information easily and the most of people can do it.
   But this technique have to use imagination from own idea and teacher have to self study before the teacher teaches students and create this technique to students is interesting and useful.
   I can solve the problem by using self study and find many medias before teach.
    Today, I felt very fun to take note and I like when teacher taught because students attended and look at her and take note and don't gossip with other students.
