Problem of English Language Teaching

On March 14, 2017.
Today, I learned with Assistant Professor Dr. Usa Noytim. I studied in Seminar in English Language Teaching in room 308. Before the start the lesson, teacher said, today is midterm test but we do not know and she looked serious but she continuous to learn and do not worry. I learned about problem of English Language Teaching. First of all, teacher gave the research and assigned students to read and discuss about this research. The representation is Mr. Watcharapong and he presented in front of the class and concluded that this research had 5 main problems; (1) teacher such as teaching writing,listening and speaking ,using English, incorporating experiential learning into English. (2) student such as not enough to practice, lacking opportunities, thinking in Thai before translate to English. (3) Curricula and textbook such as having too much to cover, lacking expert curriculum advisors. (4) assessment such as assessment of listening, speaking and writing skills. (5) other factors such as inadequate supplies of computer and language laboratories to aid teaching, lacking teacher who were English native speakers. These problems are main point to solve but these problem is very hard problem to solve.
This lesson is easy because each problem is which I know from observing and learning.
This lesson is difficult to solve but easy to learning.
I have to read a lot of text about these problems to find the way of solving these problems.
I felt fun because teacher taught by using power point and telling from her experiences about English language teaching problems.
