Definition and Classification
On March 23,2015.
In the morning, I studied A Discourse Approach in Reading with Asst. Prof.Dr. Usa Noytim.Teacher taught about Definition and Classification , she explained and sampled explanations in the sheet. Definition and Classification are different types, they help your academic reading if I can identifying and understanding texts. This sheet contains Definition and Classification Markers and stratgles, These will help me categorize and understand texts that contain technical terms, definition and classification, and also skill practices. I can do practices.After that teacher allow to us to read the text and answer the questions.This lesson is difficult. For example, in text 1, I can read this text ,but I cannot find to the main idea of the text or I can find ,but I did wrong. Then, I completed the diagram ,but I cannot choose suitable some sentence to add in the diagram.So I should more read and concluded the text to proper and short answer ,but the reader have to understand.
In my opinion, this lesson is difficult because I must remember the discourse markers that they help to read. I felt fun and do skill practices.
